There are some things that aren't great about having teenage daughters, and there are even more things that ARE great about having teenage daughters !!! Here is one of them ! This summer my girls were really bored and decided to have their own fashion show.... It was sooo fun to watch them be silly and laugh and make a memory!! I turned on a local radio station that has all club music and they OWNED THE CATWALK !!!

Your girls are so dang cute! My cousins and I used to do the same type of fashion shows when we were kids!
BTW, I would be happy to teach you how to can. I'm still learning some myself. You have to follow a recipe though because everything has to have a certain balance of ingredients to properly preserve it. Check out http://www.pickyourown.org/allaboutcanning.htm. It is a very helpful site for newbies.
Apples will be in season soon and I'm gonna try applesauce as well as a frozen apple pie filling.
