It's been several weeks since my last post. I am melting. I have become a hermit and don't want to leave the house, while the HOT Nevada sun is scorching all day long.... I miss green stuff and even humidity. The people who are from here or have been here for many years say it is not that bad, or that it is a "dry" heat and therefore not that bad, I just want to say ... BULL ! Any way you put it 115 is 115.
On an even better note, my Van broke down on June (Friday) the 13th on the freeway, on that 45 mile commute of just desert that I drive into Vegas to get to work. So anyway, We had to buy a new engine and we have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for it to arrive. So I have no car, for almost a month now...I guess it's one of those "downs" in lifes' ups and downs.
On 4th of July Phill's Grandpa passed away and so he and I will be renting a car to go to the White mountain area in Arizona mid week, for the funeral.
So that's what's up here.

Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear about the van. I agree with you on the 115 degrees. There is a reason I left Palm Springs. I hate sweating! NH is cold country but at least I rarely sweat!
Also, sorry to hear about Phill's grandpa passing. Drive safe!
