Around The World.. stopping inBrazil

The 4th graders at Grant M Bowler elementary do around the world week every year.
This year was no different. The children choose a country and then study it, do severel projects and the finally is that on the Friday of the final week, the parents bring in a dish from that particular country for sampling. There were 2 very long school lunchroom tables full of food.
The kids get to go through first and then the adults... Oh by the way, he picked Brazil because that is where he thinks he would like to serve his mission. So I made some stuff that I used to cook when we lived in LA.
Technically,I think it was Cuban food, but I'm pretty sure they eat the same stuff in Brazil.
It was Arroz con frijoles negros, Plantino fritos, y Pollo mojo.
Translation: black beans and rice, fried plantains and chicken mojo.

Way cool! Mike's brother Kelly served in Brazil. So did Jared Paget. I'm sure it would be a cool place to serve a mission. Mike may disagree as he loved Chile! Really anywhere in the Lord's Vineyard would be great, it's what you make it! We're just excited you are thinking of serving a mission. You'd be our first nephew to go! How cool would that be! We'd be proud of you, RJ!
