So the trip to Arizona went well. I got to meet the rest of Phill's family that I hadn't already met.
Great people, all of them. Salt of the earth. I couldn't have been more comfortable and they all seemed truly happy to have me there and were very welcoming. It was a lot like being around my own family..... really nice actually.
Then last weekend my wonderfully sweet, poor husband had to spend all 3 of his off days at about 8-9 hours per day, trying to put this new engine in my van. By Sunday, it was done and Monday I got my van back !!! YAY !! THANKS PHILLY ! I really missed being able to just get up and run errands.... I take a lot for granted it seems. The kids are going crazy and are bored out of their minds and want to go back to school. Olivia will be a sophomore, Naomi will be in seventh grade, RJ in fifth grade and Emmie in third grade.
On my most exciting note in a really long time, In September when Emmie turns eight, she and Naomi and RJ will all be getting Baptized, and then like the next day, I'll be going thru the temple for the very first time, and my Mom is going to come out and escort me !!
So that is what is happening in my neck of the woods, and with that, I'm signing off cuz I'm sleepy.

115 degrees
It's been several weeks since my last post. I am melting. I have become a hermit and don't want to leave the house, while the HOT Nevada sun is scorching all day long.... I miss green stuff and even humidity. The people who are from here or have been here for many years say it is not that bad, or that it is a "dry" heat and therefore not that bad, I just want to say ... BULL ! Any way you put it 115 is 115.
On an even better note, my Van broke down on June (Friday) the 13th on the freeway, on that 45 mile commute of just desert that I drive into Vegas to get to work. So anyway, We had to buy a new engine and we have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for it to arrive. So I have no car, for almost a month now...I guess it's one of those "downs" in lifes' ups and downs.
On 4th of July Phill's Grandpa passed away and so he and I will be renting a car to go to the White mountain area in Arizona mid week, for the funeral.
So that's what's up here.
